The Tree Board has the primary responsibility to study, investigate, develop, and to update periodically a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal and disposition of all street and park trees.

Committee Application

The City of Coos Bay is seeking volunteers to fill openings on the Tree Board. Applicants should complete the Committee Application form to apply. Applications are also available from the City Manager’s Office during regular business hours, by calling 541-269-8912, or emailing Christine Sylvester at csylvester@coosbayor.gov.

Applications will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, October 20, 2023. Applicants will be contacted for interviews, and appointments will be made by the City Council at the November 7, 2023 regular Council meeting.
