Join the Coos Bay Downtown Association at the Coos Bay Visitor Center at 5ish on the Friday AFTER Thanksgiving for cookies and cider and caroling while we await Santa’s arrival!

Once Santa arrives, he will be joined by the mayor and together will light the tree around 5:30 PM. From there, all the children will follow Santa over to the Egyptian Theatre where Santa will take the wish list from children and they get a candy cane.

The movie Elf starts around 7:00 PM. Bring clean, new socks rolled into a ball for the sock-ball fight during the snow ball fight scene. The donated socks will go to local homeless shelters.

If you miss this event, you can catch another free showing of Elf will at 2:00 pm on Saturday with Santa.
